On April 20, 2025, Rep. Fletcher shared a message on the celebration of Easter. She conveyed well wishes to her constituents and to people globally by stating,"On this day of hope and renewal, I wish a Happy Easter to all those celebrating in #TX07 and around the world."

Later that day, Rep. Fletcher addressed the issue of gun violence, referencing its impact on young lives in the United States. She emphasized the necessity of acknowledging the severity of gun violence and the urgency of finding solutions, saying, "Since the shooting at Columbine High School, gun violence has become one of the leading causes of death for kids ages 1-17. We owe it to them, and to those lost at Columbine, to recognize the real toll that gun violence has on communities and find solutions to #EndGunViolence."

On April 21, 2025, following the recent passing of Pope Francis, Rep. Fletcher expressed her condolences and gratitude for his contributions to society. She acknowledged the Pope's qualities and service throughout his life, "Pope Francis was a man of humility, inclusion, and compassion. Today, I join people around the world in mourning and in gratitude for his lifetime of service rooted in faith, in hope, and in love."

Lizzie Pannill Fletcher, who has represented Texas’ 7th District since 2019, was born in Houston, Texas, in 1975. She resides in Houston, having received a BA from Kenyon College in 1997 and a JD from the College of William and Mary in 2006.
