Rep. Wesley Hunt, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas's 38th District since 2023, shared several opinions on social and political matters via his press office's Twitter account on March 19, 2025.

In one post, Hunt commented on the reaction to Elon Musk's political choices and the subsequent actions against Tesla vehicles. He stated that "Everyone Loved EV’s until Elon Musk Voted for Trump”. If you vandalize Teslas with Molotov cocktails, you ARE a domestic terrorist."

Another tweet by Hunt addressed tax policies related to various forms of income. He advocated for no taxes on tips, overtime, and Social Security benefits. His stance was clear as he asserted that “All Democrats should be FOR more Money in the pockets of Americans.”

Hunt also raised concerns about judicial overreach concerning legal actions against former President Donald J. Trump. According to Hunt, “67% of injunctions in this CENTURY have been against Donald J. Trump,” with a significant portion coming from what he described as "radical left judges." He concluded that this situation is "CLEARLY" an overreach of the judicial branch.
