Lizzie Pannill Fletcher, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Texas' 7th district since 2019, has shared her thoughts and activities through a series of tweets. Fletcher, who was born in Houston and holds degrees from Kenyon College and the College of William and Mary, addressed various topics ranging from cultural celebrations to policy issues affecting her constituents.

On March 20, 2025, Fletcher extended warm wishes to those celebrating Nowruz. "To all the people in #TX07 and around the world celebrating the Persian New Year and welcoming in spring, Happy #Nowruz!" she tweeted.

Later that day, Fletcher addressed a funding freeze initiated by President Trump that impacted environmental efforts in Texas. She noted the halt it caused to crucial work on orphaned oil and gas wells. "President Trump's funding freeze brought a halt to important work in Texas and across the country to clean up orphaned oil and gas wells," she stated. Fletcher mentioned leading her colleagues in urging Interior Secretary Burgum to resume fund disbursement as authorized by the bipartisan infrastructure law.

In another tweet posted on March 20, 2025, Fletcher highlighted her participation with Houston's Meals on Wheels program. "I always love joining Houston's Meals on Wheels team for deliveries in #TX07," she expressed. She also pointed out how President Trump's grant funding freeze earlier this year posed risks to this vital community service among others.
