Wesley Hunt, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas's 38th District since 2023, has recently taken to social media to express his views on various political matters. In a series of tweets, he discusses issues ranging from Medicare cuts to internal conflicts within the Democratic Party.

In a tweet posted on March 18, 2025, Hunt commented on former President Barack Obama’s stance, suggesting that it resembles those of President Trump and Elon Musk. He remarked on the Democrats' approval of budget cuts when initiated by their own party. "Obama sounds a lot like President Trump and Elon Musk. Later that day, Hunt criticized President Joe Biden for allegedly supporting Medicare cuts. He pointed out what he perceives as hypocrisy among those who claim they would never cut Medicare but have discussed doing so in the past. "Joe Biden APPROVED of Medicare cuts. The very same people who say they would NEVER cut Medicare talkED about cutting Medicare. The hypocrisy is nauseating!"

In another tweet from March 18, 2025, Hunt addressed an apparent lack of leadership within the Democratic Party and highlighted ongoing disagreements among its members regarding strategic priorities. “I think you caved, Chuck”.
