Lizzie Pannill Fletcher, currently serving as a U.S. Congresswoman representing Texas’ 7th district, shared her thoughts on various topics through a series of tweets. Fletcher, who has been in office since 2019 after replacing John Culberson, touched upon cultural celebrations, state-level funding issues, and staffing decisions at the Social Security Administration.

On March 14, 2025, Rep. Lizzie Fletcher extended her wishes for the festival of Holi to her constituents and others celebrating across the nation. She tweeted: "Wishing a happy #Holi to all who celebrate in #TX07, the greater Houston area, and across the country. As we commemorate the promise of spring, I hope that your future is as vibrant as the colors of Holi!"

Later that day, she addressed an ongoing issue regarding federal funding for refugee services in Texas. On March 14, 2025, she stated: "Texas is the only state still unable to access federal funding for refugee services, leaving thousands of refugees in #TX07 and across Texas without vital support. I joined @RepCasar, @RepJulieJohnson, and Texas Democratic colleagues in demanding the immediate release of this..."

In another tweet posted on March 14, 2025, Rep. Fletcher commented on staffing changes within the Social Security Administration. She remarked: "It’s good to ask questions about how we can do things better. But firing the people who pick up the phones at the Social Security Administration is not the answer. Reporting on it, talking about it, and saying no to it matters."
