On February 3, 2025, Hunt's press office tweeted about the expansion of the United States Refugee Admission Program by President Biden on February 4, 2021. The tweet claims that this expansion resulted in the CHNV Program, affecting "214,000 Haitians," "117,000 Venezuelans," "111,000 Cubans," and "96,000 Nicaraguans." "2.
