The following day, on January 30, 2025, Rep. Hunt expressed his condolences regarding a tragic incident at Reagan National Airport in Washington. He urged followers to join in prayer for those affected by the crash and acknowledged the efforts of first responders working at the scene. May God be with all of them."
Later that same day, Rep. Hunt criticized what he perceives as media silence over alleged controversial pardons issued by President Biden towards his family members during his final acts as president.
