On January 24, 2025, Rep. Hunt commented on freedom of speech, stating that "the previous administration censored free speech across various platforms under the guise of 'misinformation,' 'disinformation,' and 'malinformation.'" He credits President Trump with ending this perceived injustice.
In another tweet posted on the same day, Rep. Hunt discussed border security concerns.
