Rep. Wesley Hunt, representing Texas's 38th District in the U.S. Congress since 2023, has taken to social media to express his views on various national issues. Through a series of tweets, he addresses topics ranging from freedom of speech and border security to energy policies.

On January 24, 2025, Rep. Hunt commented on freedom of speech, stating that "the previous administration censored free speech across various platforms under the guise of 'misinformation,' 'disinformation,' and 'malinformation.'" He credits President Trump with ending this perceived injustice.

In another tweet posted on the same day, Rep. Hunt discussed border security concerns. He remarked that "millions of illegal aliens are invading our nation," attributing the issue to open borders which he claims have allowed violent transnational criminals into the country. He advocates for Trump's approach which includes building a wall and deporting those who enter illegally.

Finally, Rep. Hunt addressed energy policy in a subsequent tweet, emphasizing American self-reliance in energy production. He tweeted "NO to boasting foreign producers," while supporting domestic energy exploration and production as well as eliminating electric vehicle mandates.
