In a series of tweets posted on April 9, 2025, the Rep. Wesley Hunt Press Office shared statements reflecting the congressman's viewpoints on pressing societal issues, including human smuggling and crime, as well as educational engagements.

A post from the Rep. Wesley Hunt Press Office on April 9 declared a strong stance against human smuggling, quoting former President Trump. The tweet stated: "Human Smuggling CRACKDOWN - President Trump affirms that human smuggling will NO LONGER be tolerated. Americans deserve to remain safe from migrant crime in our own country."

Later the same day, another tweet emphasized the congressman's concerns about crime rates in American cities, attributing these issues to illegal immigrants. This statement was critical of what was perceived as the Democratic Party's position on these matters: "When violent gangs take over American cities, that is an invading army. When you can’t live peacefully in your communities because of criminal illegals, that is an invading army. And what has been the Democrat response? To protect the invading army. That ENDS NOW."

Additionally, on April 9, the press office shared a moment of community engagement by Congressman Hunt, reflecting his interests in education and leadership development. The tweet read: "Today, Congressman Wesley Hunt had the honor of meeting the bright young minds of St. Anne’s Catholic School. Engaging with the next generation of leaders is a privilege—and a powerful reminder that our future is in capable, hopeful, and inspired hands!"
