Wesley Hunt, serving in the U.S. Congress for Texas's 38th District since 2023, shared a series of tweets addressing various political issues on March 17, 2025. The tweets reflect his views on actions taken by the Trump administration and comments on decisions made during Joe Biden's presidency.

In a tweet posted at 17:37 UTC, Hunt posed a question regarding the deportation of designated terrorists under the Trump administration. He asked, "If the Trump administration cannot send these designated terrorists back to where they came from where will we send them? Asking for the American people!"

Shortly after, at 17:42 UTC, Hunt emphasized public support for Trump's immigration policies. He stated, "The American people gave President Trump a mandate to carry out mass deportations! That is exactly what the Trump administration is doing and they are EXTREMELY transparent about it!"

At 17:49 UTC, Hunt criticized Joe Biden's use of presidential pardons and suggested that President Trump might have the authority to reverse those decisions. He tweeted, "We all know Joe Biden had no clue what he was signing (if he were even signing in the first place) when he handed out pardons like candy. But here’s the kicker—President Trump may have the power to undo Biden’s unconscious mistakes."
