Wesley Hunt, who has represented Texas's 38th District in the U.S. Congress since 2023, shared a series of tweets addressing various topics on November 18 and 19, 2024. Hunt expressed condolences for a tragic incident in Spring Branch, criticized Democratic policies regarding immigration, and highlighted his role in the House of Representatives.

On November 18, Hunt responded to an incident involving Jose Torres, a police dispatcher from Spring Branch. In his tweet, he expressed sorrow: "Heartbreaking news out of Spring Branch. Our prayers are with the family of Jose Torres, a devoted father and police dispatcher, tragically taken from his loved ones. May his family find strength in this unimaginable time of loss."

Later that day, Hunt addressed immigration issues in another tweet. He commented on Democratic efforts concerning sanctuary cities: "Democrats are fighting to protect the 'rights' of illegal immigrants in 'sanctuary' cities. Americans are LEFT BEHIND while Democrats PROTECT illegals."

On November 19, Wesley Hunt tweeted about his responsibilities within the House of Representatives: "It’s always a great honor to preside over the House of Representatives."
