She stated: "Today, I was thrilled to cut the ribbon and take a tour of the Meyergrove Detention Basin in #TX07 with community partners including @RodneyEllis, @AbbieKamin, and @HCFCD!".

Continuing her commentary on infrastructure, Fletcher emphasized its importance in another post from the same day. She noted: "The Meyergrove Detention Basin shows us why infrastructure investments are so important and why having government that works efficiently, effectively, and collaboratively at every level is what we need, deserve, and can have."

Later that day, Fletcher addressed concerns over federal funding issues impacting early childhood education programs. She highlighted: "President Trump's federal funding freeze halted funding for Head Start programs across #TX07 & the country. These programs provide essential support for nearly 3,000 infants and kids across Harris and Ft. Bend Counties. Glad to join @RepGaramendi in an effort to get answers."
