Rep. Lizzie Fletcher, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 7th district since 2019, recently shared several updates on social media covering a range of topics from political affairs to local celebrations and historical remembrances.

On January 25, 2025, Rep. Fletcher posted about the current activities in Washington D.C., encouraging constituents to stay informed by signing up for her email updates. She stated: "There is a lot going on in Washington these days. Sign up for my Washington Week Wrap Up email updates to get the latest on things important to #TX07."

Later that day, she celebrated Houston's unique version of Arbor Day with a tweet recognizing the city's appreciation for its trees: "In Houston, we love our trees so much that we have our own version of Arbor Day! On January 27, 2025, Rep. Fletcher marked International Holocaust Remembrance Day by reflecting on the liberation of Auschwitz and emphasizing the importance of combating antisemitism and hate: "80 years ago, allied forces liberated survivors at Auschwitz. Today, we observe International Holocaust Remembrance Day, remembering the victims and recommitting to combatting antisemitism and hate."
