On January 25, 2025, Rep. Garcia attended the Día de la Mujer Latina Know Your Rights town hall event. She expressed her honor in joining this initiative by stating: "Today, I was honored to join the Día de la Mujer Latina Know Your Rights town hall. We had an important conversation about what it means to understand and protect your rights. Everyone deserves to feel informed, respected, and valued—no matter their status."

Two days later, on January 27, 2025, she tweeted about supporting her colleague during an important ceremony: "It was great to support my friend and community leader, @RepMorales145 , at her swearing-in ceremony this weekend.
