Rep. Wesley Hunt, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas's 38th District since 2023, recently shared several statements via social media. The posts reflect his views on national and international matters as well as a local accomplishment.
On March 5, 2025, Rep. Hunt expressed support for former President Trump by stating that "WE THE PEOPLE gave Trump a mandate on November 5th." He commended the Trump Administration for its efforts to decentralize power from Washington bureaucrats and return it to the populace.
In another post made later that day, he celebrated a personal achievement within his community: "Houston’s own, Devarjaye 'DJ' Daniel, has been officially sworn in as a U.S. Secret Service Agent!" He encouraged DJ to keep fighting and expressed pride in this accomplishment.
Finally, addressing economic concerns on an international scale, Rep. Hunt asserted that "The System has never been fair to the United States." He emphasized the need for other countries to contribute more significantly to America's growing economy.
