Rep. Lizzie Fletcher, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 7th district, has recently shared her views and announcements on social media regarding issues affecting veterans and governmental operations. In a series of tweets, she addressed the impact of budget cuts on veterans' healthcare and criticized administrative decisions related to government personnel.

On February 21, 2025, Rep. Fletcher expressed concern over the effects of budget cuts on veterans' health care after visiting a VA facility. She stated, "I was at the VA just the other day, and the veterans I spoke with made it clear that these kinds of cuts are hurting them and the people they rely on for health care. This purge is an utter & unacceptable failure to keep the promises we made to veterans."

Later that day, she reminded her constituents about an upcoming event via another tweet: "Don't forget to sign up for our Telephone Town Hall on Monday evening." The post included a link for RSVPs.

On February 22, 2025, Rep. Fletcher critiqued actions by the Trump administration in another tweet: "The Trump administration is not only overstepping its role by firing people from the FAA to the USDA to the CDC in the name of spending cuts, it is undermining government's essential function of keeping us safe — and now hurting our ability to respond to the bird flu."
