Xavier tops UConn 6-1 behind JD Crisp in NCAA Division I baseball

Former Second Baptist School standout JD Crisp helped the Xavier Musketeers secure a 6-1 victory over the UConn Huskies in their NCAA Division I baseball game held Sunday, March 29, at 12:05 p.m.

The contest took place at Elliot Ballpark and marked the third time the teams faced each other this season, splitting the series so far.

Crisp contributed one hit in five at-bats and had three strikeouts, leaving three runners on base.

Xavier’s next game will be played Tuesday, March 31, at Ball Diamond against Ball State Cardinals.
