On Sunday, March 1, at 3 p.m., the UT Dallas Comets, featuring former Kingwood High School standout McKenna Holm, were defeated 12-4 in their NCAA Division III softball contest against the West Texas A&M Buffaloes.
The matchup was held at UTD Softball Field. It marked the teams’ second meeting this season. In their earlier game the same day, the Comets lost 6-4.
Holm went 1-for-1 at the plate, scoring one run, driving in 2 runs and recording a walk.
The Comets’ upcoming game is set for Friday, March 13, at 3 p.m. at UTD Softball Field versus Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas.
