Trinity Tigers fall 6-5 to Babson Beavers in NCAA Division III baseball

On Sunday, March 1, at 10 a.m., the Trinity Tigers, featuring former Strake Jesuit High School standout Jace Clay, were edged out 6-5 by the Babson Beavers in their NCAA Division III baseball matchup.

The matchup took place at Trinity Baseball Field and marked their third meeting with the Beavers this season. The Tigers secured a 9-4 victory in their previous game on Saturday, Feb. 28.

Clay took the mound for 1.1 innings, tallying two walks and striking out two batters.

The Tigers are set to play their next game Friday, March 6, at 6 p.m. at Trinity Baseball Field against the Kean Cougars.
