Tom Oliverson, M.D., a Republican and member of the Texas State House representing District 130 since 2017, made several posts on April 9, 2026, addressing both political and public policy topics.

In one post from that day, Oliverson commented on his perception of political opponents: “The left just keeps getting weirder. Unfit to lead in Texas.” (April 9, 2026). Later the same day, he criticized Democrats and referenced voting practices: “This is what Democrats stand for. And of course ‘auto pen’ shenanigans. Vote wisely.” (April 9, 2026).

Oliverson also highlighted a government initiative related to water infrastructure grants: “The application period is now open for the Water Supply and Infrastructure Grant (WSIG) through the @TXBD. This opportunity provides 100% grant funding for eligible water supply and infrastructure projects that support reliability and long-term planning. Applications are due” (April 9, 2026).

Oliverson was first elected to the Texas State House in 2017 to represent District 130 after succeeding Allen Fletcher.
