Steve McMichael was born in Houston, Texas, on October 17, 1957. He played college football at the University of Texas, where he became an All-American. He later joined the National Football League and played as a defensive tackle for the Chicago Bears. McMichael was part of the team that won Super Bowl XX in 1986. He played 15 seasons in the NFL, earning two Pro Bowl selections. After football, he entered professional wrestling and appeared in World Championship Wrestling. He also worked as a sports broadcaster and briefly ran for political office. In 2024, he was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
