On Tuesday, March 17, at 6 p.m., Alex Yearwood, an alumnus of St. Pius X High School, saw his Texas State Bobcats fall 9-6 to the Texas A&M Aggies in NCAA Division I baseball action.
The matchup, hosted at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park, marked the Bobcats’ first game against the Aggies this season.
Yearwood pitched 3.1 innings, yielding four earned runs and striking out two batters.
The Bobcats are set to play next on Friday, March 20, at 6:05 p.m., when they host the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns at Bobcat Ballpark.
