Texas Southern University announced on Apr. 6 that its baseball team, in partnership with Major League Baseball, will hold a free youth baseball and softball clinic at MacGregor Park this Saturday, April 11, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The event is designed for boys and girls between the ages of five and twelve. Organizers said that no prior experience or equipment is necessary for participation. Members of the Texas Southern University (TSU) Baseball team along with coaching staff will instruct attendees during the clinic.

Registration for the camp will open at 8:30 a.m., and space is limited. The sign-up link is provided by TSU organizers for those interested in participating.

MacGregor Park, which serves as the home field for TSU Baseball, is located at 5225 Calhoun Road in Houston.

The collaboration aims to introduce more children to baseball and softball while providing an accessible opportunity for local youth to learn from college athletes and coaches.
