Team Bettencourt, the official account for Texas State Senator Paul Bettencourt, posted a series of tweets in early March 2026 addressing political alliances, local party engagement, and legislative action on housing finance.

Later that day, Team Bettencourt shared reflections from a meeting with local Republicans: “Nice to visit with West Side Republicans this morning at our PCT conventions! Paul Bettencourt has represented Texas’s 7th Senate district since his election in 2015 as a Republican. He succeeded Dan Patrick in this position.
