Tarleton State falls 9-2 to Elon as Mariah Debose drives in a run

At 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 15, the Tarleton State Texans, featuring former Spring High School standout Mariah Debose, were defeated 9-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Elon Phoenix.

Hunt Softball Park was the venue for the contest, which marked the second meeting between the teams this season. In their earlier game on Friday, March 13, the Texans earned a 7-3 victory over the Phoenix.

Debose contributed with one hit in three trips to the plate along with one RBI.

The Texans are set to return to action against Rhode Island Rams on Friday, March 20, at 7 p.m. at the Tarleton Softball Complex.
