Rep. Sylvia Garcia, a U.S. Congress member representing Texas’ 29th district since 2019, has shared her thoughts on immigration issues through a series of tweets. She stated that her “biggest fear under the Trump administration is seeing families torn from their lives and sent to danger” without further elaboration.
Later that day, Rep. Garcia engaged with several organizations and fellow representatives on social media by tagging them in a tweet: @ImmDef @humanrights1st @ACLU @RepJayapal @RepRaskin @RepJasmine @RepChuyGarcia @RepGlennIvey @RepJerryNadler @RepDeborahRoss @RepMGS @RepMarkTakano @RepBeccaB @RepJuanVargas.
