Sul Ross State, featuring former Jordan High School standout Owen Wendt, lost 15-6 to the Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m. in an NCAA Division III baseball game.

The matchup took place at Kokernot Field, marking the second time the teams faced off this season. The Lobos previously dropped a 9-3 game to the Javelinas on Friday, Feb. 27.

Wendt pitched 2.2 innings, allowing four earned runs and striking out two batters.

Sul Ross State is scheduled to play again at 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at Kokernot Field against Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas.
