In a series of tweets, Rep. Lizzie Fletcher, serving Texas' 7th district, addressed several important matters. Fletcher, a Congresswoman who replaced John Culberson in 2019, shared her support for Planned Parenthood and criticized the Trump Administration while updating her constituents on local events.
On April 3, 2025, Fletcher expressed her support for reproductive health access by standing with Planned Parenthood. She posted, "Proud to stand with and for Planned Parenthood on the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court because every American deserves access to high quality, medically accurate, non-judgmental reproductive health care at the place of their choosing."
Later that day, Fletcher informed her followers about an upcoming town hall event by tweeting, "Thank you to everyone who has RSVPed! Our #TX07 town hall this Saturday has reached capacity. We're working on more events. Stay in the loop by signing up at https://t.co/y7Sl0OUSSE."
In another post, Fletcher criticized former President Trump for reducing legal counsel funding for unaccompanied children. She stated, "Trump cut legal counsel funding for more than 26,000 unaccompanied children at risk of mistreatment, exploitation, and trafficking. I joined @RepJasonCrow and @RepDanGoldman in urging the Trump Administration to renew the legal services contract for these unaccompanied children."
