Rep. Lizzie Fletcher, a U.S. Congress member representing Texas' 7th district, has been vocal on several issues through her recent tweets. On February 7, 2025, she expressed concerns about Elon Musk's access to sensitive Treasury systems and introduced legislation aimed at protecting contraception rights.

On February 7, 2025, Rep. Fletcher tweeted about the involvement of Elon Musk with Treasury’s payment system. She stated: "It is inexplicable and unacceptable that shadow President Elon Musk has gotten access to Treasury’s highly sensitive payment system for paying Social Security and Medicare, tax refunds, and more. Glad to join @RepCasten in one of many efforts to stop it."

Later the same day, Rep. Fletcher announced the introduction of the Right to Contraception Act in collaboration with several colleagues. She tweeted: "I'm proud to introduce the Right to Contraception Act in the House with @RepAngieCraig, @RepSaraJacobs, @RepNikema, and 200+ @HouseDemocrats, along with @SenMarkey, @MazieHirono, & @SenDuckworth in response to the real threats to birth control access in TX and across our country."

In a subsequent tweet on February 7, 2025, Rep. Fletcher reaffirmed her commitment to women's health and privacy issues: "We will do everything we can to protect and restore the health, privacy, dignity, and autonomy of women and families across our country. We will not give up!"
