There was one multiracial student enrolled in Elevate Collegiate Charter School District in the 2022-23 school year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Elevate Collegiate Charter School District welcomed 117 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 0.9% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Elevate Collegiate Charter School District roughly covers schools within Harris County and has a main office in Houston.

Elevate Collegiate was the only school in the district which enrolled multiracial students, welcoming one student in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
