There were 1,731 Asian students enrolled in Harmony School of Science - Houston District in the 2022-23 school year, 34.8% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Harmony School of Science - Houston District welcomed 5,405 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Asian students comprised 32% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Harmony School of Science - Houston District roughly covers schools within Harris County and has a main office in Sugar Land.

Among the six schools in Harmony School of Science - Houston District, Harmony School of Excellence - Sugar Land recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 524 students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
