There were 60,074 students enrolled in Aldine ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 2.5% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 50.7% of them were boys, and 49.3% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 74.1% of the Aldine ISD total enrollment.

Aldine ISD roughly covers schools within Harris County with its main office in Houston.

Among the 78 schools in Aldine ISD, Macarthur High School recorded the highest enrollment of 3,571 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
