On Tuesday, March 5, former Rio Grande City High School standout Manny Garza’s current college team, the Rice Owls, won 6-1 in their NCAA Division I game against the Prairie View A&M Panthers.

The game took place in Houston, Texas. This was their first matchup against the Prairie View A&M Panthers this season.

The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 8 at 6:35 p.m. in Manoa, Hawaii against Hawaii Rainbow Warriors.
