There were seven Pacific Islander students enrolled in Harmony School of Science - Houston District in the 2021-22 school year, 46.2% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Harmony School of Science - Houston District welcomed 4,092 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Pacific Islander students comprised 0.2% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Harmony School of Science - Houston District roughly covers schools within Harris County and has a main office in Sugar Land.

Among the six schools in Harmony School of Science - Houston District, Harmony Science Academy- Beaumont recorded the highest enrollment of Pacific Islander students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of two students.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
