There were 214 students enrolled in Accelerated Intermediate Academy in the 2021-22 school year, 8.9% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 54.7% of them were girls, and 45.3% were boys.

The most represented ethnicity among Accelerated Intermediate Academy students was Hispanic, accounting for 49.5% of the student population.

Accelerated Intermediate Academy roughly covers schools within Harris County with its main office in Houston.

Among the two schools in Accelerated Intermediate Academy, Accelerated Interdisciplinary Academy recorded the highest enrollment of 199 students in the 2021-22 school year.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
