Fort Bend County home prices fall in April 2023 compared to April 2022

In April 2023, the median sale price of a home in Fort Bend County fell by $4,223 from the same period in the previous year, while total sales increased by 12.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

Data shows that there were 574 homes sold in April 2023, with a median sale price of $215,856 - a 1.9% decrease from the $220,079 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 510 homes sold in Fort Bend County in April 2022.

For context, the median sales tax in Fort Bend County, based on the latest available data from 2021, was $4,445, which stands at 2.1% of April 2023's median home sale price.
