Rewards Network has announced the winners of its first-ever "Restaurant Resilient $50K Giveaway."
Five restaurants in the country have secured checks for $10,000, including Lucille's in Houston. With the donation, Lucille's has been able to retain all of its workers on the payroll despite the COVID-19 crisis.
The five restaurants were picked because they offer unique dining experiences for their customers. They gave meal donations, worked to help at-risk youth, and teamed with local NGOs.
"If we've learned one thing during the Restaurant Resilient $50K Giveaway, it's that there's no shortage of incredible, hardworking and tenacious businesses around the country," Steve Fusco, president of Rewards Network in a press release, said. "We're thankful to be able to recognize these five restaurants and look forward to seeing them continue to blossom while also giving back to their communities."
Rewards Network is a provider of funding, marketing services to businesses in the restaurant industry.
