Several Houston restaurants close for business due to COVID-19 difficulties

Texas may be reopening slowly, but Houston area restaurants continue to struggle after several months of restrictions meant to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result many Houston restaurant owners have decided that they cannot reopen to the public.

Below is a list of the closures, as reported by Houstonia:

The Acadian Bakery in the Montrose area; Alice’s Tall Texan; Dak & Bop, Museum District; Dolce Vita Pizzeria & Enoteca; Indika; Barry’s Pizza; The Tasting Room, Uptown Park; Poitin; All locations of Bernie’s Burger Bus; Penny Quarter;

Patranella’s; West Belfort location of Komchop; East Downtown location of Lucky’s Pub; Tropicales; Yia Yia Mary’s; Pappas Seafood House, I-45 North at Aldine Bend; Shepherd; and I-45 S. at Woodridge;

Pappas Seafood Kitchen in Upper Kirby; Market Square Treebeard’s location; Chicken and Rice Guys; Chicken Station; Westchase location of Ragin Cajun’; Crisp, Underground Hall; Downtown location Boomtown Coffee; Blackbird Izakaya; Downtown location of Boomtown Coffee; and the East Downtown location of Lucky’s Pub.
