Cost of college was unchanged for all students at the MediaTech Institute-Houston

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the MediaTech Institute-Houston, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Texas students paid $35,200 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $5,500 more than the $29,700 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 66 students received grants or scholarships totaling $223,001 and 71 students took out student loans totaling more than $374,002.

Including all undergraduates (116), 89 students used grants or scholarships totaling $359,916, and 93 students took out $375,023 in federal student loans.
