Cost of college went up for all students at Houston International College Cardiotech Ultrasound School

Tuition and fees rose 4.5 percent for 2018-19 at Houston International College Cardiotech Ultrasound School, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Texas students paid $11,200 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $487 more than the $10,713 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 9 students received grants or scholarships totaling $41,150 and 9 students took out student loans totaling more than $38,276.

Including all undergraduates (67), 33 students used grants or scholarships totaling $134,793, and 62 students took out $497,444 in federal student loans.
