Cost of college was unchanged for all students at American InterContinental University-Houston

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at American InterContinental University-Houston, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Texas students paid $14,640 to attend the four-year private for-profit institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 67 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 6 students received grants or scholarships totaling $45,120 and 8 students took out student loans totaling more than $48,218.

Including all undergraduates (349), 181 students used grants or scholarships totaling $737,307, and 162 students took out $1.3 million in federal student loans.
