The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center enrolls 356 undergrads

At The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, 55 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 77 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Houston enrolled 376 students in fall 2018, including 356 in undergraduate and 20 in graduate programs, data shows. 26.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (34 percent) and Asian (24 percent).
