The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston enrolls 717 undergrads

At The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, 52 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 85 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Houston enrolled 5,335 students in fall 2018, including 717 in undergraduate and 4,618 in graduate programs, data shows. 15.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (33 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (31 percent).
