96 percent of applicants to the School of Automotive Machinists & Technology were admitted for fall 2018

At the School of Automotive Machinists & Technology, 60 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 98 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private for-profit institution in Houston enrolled 182 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 7.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

71 percent of undergraduates are residents of Texas, and 29 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (63 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (21 percent).

The school admitted 96 percent of the 26 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 84 percent enrolled.
