Tulsa Welding School-Houston enrolls 1,418 undergrads

At Tulsa Welding School-Houston, 61 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 93 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The private for-profit school in Houston enrolled 1,418 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

96 percent of undergraduates are residents of Texas, and 4 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (35 percent) and Black or African American (28 percent).
