The University of Phoenix-Texas enrolls 744 undergrads

At the University of Phoenix-Texas, 95 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 57 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Houston enrolled 890 students in fall 2018, including 744 in undergraduate and 146 in graduate programs, data shows. 6.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Texas.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (28 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (16 percent).
