Graduates earn 362 degrees from Baylor College of Medicine

About 75.1 percent of the 362 degrees and certificates handed out by Baylor College of Medicine in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Houston conferred 204 doctor's degrees and 68 master's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a doctor's degree in medicine. Data shows the school gave out 187 doctor's degrees in medicine, followed by 40 master's degrees in physician assistant and 20 master's degrees in orthotist/prosthetist.

The college enrolled 1,581 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in 1581 programs.
