Graduates earn 153 degrees from American InterContinental University-Houston

About 69.9 percent of the 153 degrees and certificates handed out by American InterContinental University-Houston in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Houston conferred 53 bachelor's degrees and 40 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 50 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 40 master's degrees in general business administration and management and 20 bachelor's degrees in criminal justice/safety studies.

The university enrolled 349 students for 2017-18, including 257 in undergraduate programs and 92 in graduate programs.
