The state is using electronic billboards to help fight against human trafficking.
Last month, state officials celebrated the launch of the campaign to end human trafficking in Padre Island.
"We're just trying to make sure people will know that there's a national human trafficking hotline that you can call, and if you see something that doesn't look right you may be saving someone's life," Texas Secretary of State Ruth Hughs told KIII-TV.
The billboards will feature hotlines for individuals to call if they suspect human trafficking is occurring. The billboards will be in both English and Spanish.
The State Attorney General's Office told KIII-TV that at any given time there are 234,000 victims of labor trafficking and 79,000 children are victims of sex trafficking.
