Southwestern Pirates fall 12-10 to Muhlenberg Mules in NCAA Division III baseball match

The Southwestern Pirates, featuring former Clear Lake High School standout Alex Ervesun, were defeated 12-10 by the Muhlenberg Mules in their NCAA Division III baseball game at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 14.

The matchup was held at Rockwell Family Field and marked the Pirates’ third meeting with the Mules this season. The Pirates previously secured a 6-5 win over Muhlenberg on Friday, March 13.

Ervesun finished with one hit in four at-bats, collected two runs batted in, drew one walk, struck out twice and stranded five runners on base.

The Pirates will return to action on Friday, March 20, at 6 p.m., again at Rockwell Family Field, where they will face Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels.
